Clinical Study on the Treatment of Non-Small-Cell-Lung Cancer with Gemcitabine Puls Cisplatin Regimen

Abstract

Objective: To evaluate anti tumor efficacy and safety of Gemcitabine plus cisplatin in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer.Methods:Fourty two patients with non small cell lung cancer were treated with Gemcitabine plus cisplatin regimen. Results:There were one CR,nineteen PR,fourteen NC,and eight PD in this series with total response rate of 47.6%.The main side effects included myelosuppression.32 patients (76.2%)had neutropenia, 16 patients(38.1%)had thrombocytopenia.All the side effects were tolerable.Conclusion:Gemcitabine plus cisplatin is safe and effective therapy for patients with Non small cell lung cancer.
