This paper provides an overview of advanced manufacturing technology,first points out the background,content and features of advanced manufacturing technology,then introduces the current research focus of advanced manufacturing technology,such as CIMS,Intelligent Manufacturing,Green Manufacturing,Virtual Manufacturing,Network Manufacturing,Cloud Manufacturing and so on,in addition to comparison of several advanced manufacturing technology,and last discusses the modern management techniques in advanced manufacturing technology.
