Abstract
Regression analysis is a kind of mathematics statistic method which is used to deal with correlations of variable factors.Recently, regression analysis model has been applied in many environmental fields and has been proved to be correct and doable.Basic regression analysis methods include unitary linear regression, multiple linear regression, stepwise regression, and so on.This article discussed the principle and application of these basic regression methods in environmental science, dissertated the effect of the application, and predicted the development trend of regression analysis in the future.This study is valuable in better application of regression analysis in many environmental science and engineering fields.
