Abstract
Thirty-eight samples have systematically collected from the Shoushangou Formation in central Jilin Pro-vince, in which 28 samples yields conodonts, including mainly Mesogondolella idahoensis, M. lamberti, M. siciliensis, Sweetognathus expansus, Sweetognathus sp. This conodont fauna clearly indicatets that the age of the Shou-shangou Formation should be assigned to the latest Kungurian. Biogeographically, this fauna should be belong to Tethyan conodont Province(TP)(=Ouchita-Cathaysia conodont Province(OCP), but the temperature of water could be a little lower than normal TP (=OCP)water. The range of fusulinid Monodiexodina is from the latest Kungurian to Wordian.
