Abstract

Fifteen rare earth complexes with macrocyclic Schiff’s base containing alcohol hydroxyl were synthesized by reaction of 1,3-di(o-formylphenoxyl)-2-propanol with m-phenylenediamine at the presence of Ln 3+ ion. These complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR and MS. Their thermal behavior was examined by DTG-TG analysis.
