Abstract
The second language acquisition is different from foreign language learning in terms of language environment,language input,affective factors,and mother language knowledge influences,so foreign language learners' command of the specific language is far worse than the second language acquirers'.Although the monitor model,language knowledge model,language processing models,and social models are the theoretical models for second language acquisition,each model has unique functions for foreign language learning.
