Abstract
In order to study the characteristics of kinetic projectile penetrating plumb into concrete target with attack angle, the effects of attack angle on the penetration in the instance of plumb penetration were numerically simulated by the finite element code LS-DYNA3D with HJC and Johnson-Cook material model. The basic phenomena of projectile penetrating with attack angle were described in detail.Four kinds of warhead's penetration path at different attack angle was indicated, the variation regularity of acceleration with attack angle or not in Y-direction was presented, the effects of attack angle on penetration were analyzed, and the effect degree of attack angle on penetration depth in different velocities was compared.
