Abstract
Qu Shi-heng,a native of Shunde and an ordinary scholar who lived in the Southern Song Dynasty is known for his fearless impeachment of Chia Ssu-tao,a treacherous official,and his unusual move in donating all his wealth to recruit soldiers to fight against the Yuan troops.Through a brief account of his life,and combined with an analysis of his poems,this paper discusses his concern for his country and the people,and his persevering fighting spirit deep in his heart.
