Research and Simulation on the Three Phase PWM Rectifier Technique

Abstract

This paper introduces the principle of the three phase pulse width modulation(PWM)rectifier and establishes the mathematical model of the three phase PWM rectifier at first,then studies the performance of the PWM rectifier and traditional thyristor rectifier with the same load by simulation model based on MATLAB/Simulink,the contrast of two Simulation results testifies to the superiority of PWM rectifier.
