Analysis of the Related Factors of Post-stroke Depression

Abstract

Objective To explore the incidence and related factors of post-stroke depression(PSD).Methods 248 patients with acute stroke were evaluated and investigated by Hamilton Depression Rating Scales(HAMD)and Neurologic Deficit Scale(NDS).Results The incidence of PSD was 37.9%.PSD had positive relation with degree of neurologic deficit and the location of focus,and no relation with sex.Conclusion PSD is the common complication of stroke and positively related to multiple factors.
