Abstract

SOAP(Simple Object Access Protocol), the basis of Web Service transport protocol, plays an important role in Web Service security. By analyzing SOAP specification and the security problems when using SOAP on Web Services, this paper gives an available implementation of extending SOAP security that ensures transferring SOAP messages according to the content and framework of WS-Security.
