Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To compare the therapeutic effects, adverse reactions and the costs between Interferon α-2b and Lamivudine in the treatment of chronic hepatitis B METHODS:Using pharmacoeconomic cost-effectiveness analysis,Lamivudine was compared with Interferon α-2b in the treatment of 100 patients with chronic hepatitis B(divided into two groups) RESULTS:After treatment, the effective rates of Interferon α-2b and Lamivudine were 58 00% and 62 00% respec_tively(P0 05),the cost-effectiveness ratios were 762 49 and 111 85 respectively(P0 01) CONCLUSION:Both of Inter_feron α-2b and Lamivudine can effectively treat chronic hepatitis B,the cost-effectiveness ratio of Lamivudine is superior to that of Interferon α-2b
