Abstract

TOD realizes transit oriented city development through integrated high-density land use around transit stations.Based on the concept of TOD,this paper analyzes its importance to Chinese cities in the near future,then points out some problems in coordinating rail transit and land use.It discusses the key issues of TOD planning on different levels and gives a heuristic model of mixed land use analysis on microscopic level.
