ON THE VALUE OF NATURAL ENVIRONMENT

Value is not only a functional category,but also a cqategory of relation.Therefore,the unification of subjective and objective standards should be insisted on in its evaluation.Consequently,the value of natural environment should have two sides,the external and the internal.Specifically,there are four types of value,i.e.economic value,scientific value,aesthetic value and moral value.The last of the four should not be overlooked.Respect for nature ought to be advocated in ethics,which should make right moral choice on the side of protecting and showing loving care for nature.
