Abstract
The research aimed to explore the effect of extracts from poplar(Populus yunnanensis) leaves on oviposition of Phthorimaea operculella(Zeller).[Methods] Effects of dichloromethane extracts from fresh and wilted P.yunnanensis leaves on oviposition selectivity for P.operculella were investigated by selective oviposition test in larboratory, respectively.[Results] The results demonstrated, extracts from fresh and from wilted P.yunnanensis leaves with different concentration(375-6000 g/L) could deter their oviposition significantly. The inhibiting effect increased as the concentration of extracts increased.
