Abstract

Historical background of pressure test to oil gas pipelines at home and abroad,and current pressure test standards and codes for steel transportation pipeline are introduced in the paper. The authors describe and analyze the selection and application of two sets of current pressure test standards and codes for domestic steel transportation pipeline and provide the applicable scope of different pressure test methods and the standards determining the test pressure of pipelines.
