Abstract

Adopting Visual Basic Language,Access Database and AutoCAD and UG software,and using VB as a developing tool for object database on the platform of CAD,a database framework has been set up for drawing analysis,technological design and structure design in the design of porthole extrusion die.The database can not only meet the needs of CAD design for parameters,but also further improve the practicability of the CAD system for extrusion porthole die with the expansion of the database,perfecting the system.
