Abstract
Graphical user interface (GUI) testing has become the main means of software testing. However, GUI testing is primarily manual and requires much time. This paper presents an automated GUI test case generation method using coloured Petri nets model. The algorithm uses two test coverage criteria with different testing methods and test data generation algorithms for the different test coverage cirteria. Experiments show that the model effectively describes the states and behaviors of GUI systems to improve GUI testing efficiency and quality.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
