Abstract
A generalized Redlich-Kwong gas Stirling heat engine is established and the general expressions for its work output and efficiency are derived, from which thermodynamic properties of the ideal gas,VDW gas,Dieterici gas,RK gas and cryogenic gas Stirling cycles can be directly derived.A detailed analysis is made of the relationships of the work output and efficiency of the Stirling heat engine with its volume and temperature. The results obtained here may be used to derive not only some important contents in literature but also provide some theoretical guidance for the operating condition and the optimal design of heat engines.
