Factor Analysis of Chinese Women's Volleyball Team Winning the 9th World Cup

The purpose of this paper is supplying reference and data for Chinese Women's Volleyball Team to prepare for the 2004 Olympics. The factors which contribute to Chinese Women's Volleyball team being the Champion of 9th World Cup are analyzed with the methods of literature review and video record statistics comparing and analyzing. The success and failure of tactics and skills of the Chinese Women's Volleyball team are induced. Through the analysis and induction we get the following results: the main factors which contribute to Chinese Women's Volleyball team being the Champion of the World Cup are fast speed and good psychological condition. However strike, serve speed and force, and ball control ability of Chinese Women's Volleyball team compared with some top teams of the world still have some weaknesses.
