Analysis of Tourism Development of Cultural Landscape in the Ancient Towns Surrounding Chengdu

Developing the cultural landscape of the ancient towns surrounding Chengdu should be based on their cultural characteristics,with the purpose of carrying the ancient towns' culture and inheriting their folk customs and life modality.During the development,three aspects need attention: protectively developing the ancient towns' village landscape with the features of Western Sichuan in order to make the historical buildings and surrounding environment highlight the ancient towns' cultural characteristics;inheriting and developing the function of the architectural landscape in the ancient towns in order to strengthen their capability of carrying culture and enrich cultural connotation of the ancient towns' tourism;paying attention to designing the landscape to prominent the ancient towns' cultural characteristics,and create the ancient towns' cultural charm.
