Abstract

As an international crime,the crime of genocide severely disrupts the peace and security of international community.After the Second World War,the General Assembly passed Resolution 96(I) and Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide that announce the acts of genocide as international crime.In 1990s,U.N.set up ICTY and ICTR to investigate the case of genocide which happened in former Yugoslavia and Rwanda in 1993 and 1994.On July 1,2002,the ICC was established,to deal with specifically four international crimes,including the crime of genocide.
