Abstract
Modernity constitutes a remarkable mark of the 2 0th century Chinese literature . This objective thread existing in the 2 0th century Chinese literature is much more appropriate than the subjective political perspective of“anti imperialism” and “anti-feudalism” . However, the modernity of literature is by no means the same as modernistic literature. Post-modernity is just the after-thought, amendment and addition of modernity .
