Abstract
Differential protection is the main protection of transformer and its stable and proper operation directly influence the stability of electric power system.In accordance with the analysis of the reasons of differential protection misoperation,this article explains that the temporary saturation of voltage transformer and current transformer is the main reason of present differential protection,and then it puts forward the relevant measures to avoid main transformer misoperation,meanwhile it also discusses the application of different kinds of measures,which plays an active role in improving the reliability of power supply of electric power system.
