On the Decadent Aesthetic and Literary Writing

The decadence first appeared in ancient Latin,and can be traced back to the decline and fall of Rome Empire and Byzantium. The decadence didn't become aesthetic concept or literary genre until the late nineteenth century. Its aesthetic orientation and literary writing have an impact not just in the West,but also in the east like China and Japan even until twenty- first Century. This paper tries to reveal the association and significance of decadent aesthetic and literary writing by means of sorting through the history and literature case from the two aspects of the longitudinal history and transverse literature.
