Evaluation on the accuracy of determining ammonia/nitrogen in water with continuous-flowing analyzer

Abstract

Ammonia/nitrogen in water was detected by continuous-flowing analyzer.Compared with the national standard,the detecting results were no significant deviation.Ammonia/nitrogen concentration within the range of 0.020 to 10.000 mg/L was linear with the absorbance.The linear correlation coefficient of ammonia/nitrogen was r=0.999 6.The recovery yield of ammonia/nitrogen was about 100% to 101%,and the RSD of determination results was 0.26% to 3.1%(n=6).This method can meet the requirement of limitation value of ammonia/nitrogen in water and wastewater monitoring.
