Beauty in the Human Context:Re-explaining the Concept of Beauty

Beauty is a concept in aesthetics which has been studied and talked with more and more but still contains no common idea among humankind since. In this paper, the author presents that a systemic understanding of this concept Beauty will result only from a total study which contains those studies in the levels of aesthetic anthropology, culture and individuality with his study of the ancient and modern concept Beauty in the Western and China. On these levels of study, the author persists the idea that man is the basic measure for Beauty. In this paper contains a important feature, one that the author broke with the traditional system which thinks truth, goodness and beauty parallel each other, instead of that, he explains beauty in the active levels of aesthetic anthropology, culture and individuality. Among his statement of Beauty, the author criticizes some popular ideas about Beauty, such as the idea that the truth is Beauty, in order that the principles of formal beauty will be not able to be absolute and general in human context.
