Abstract

In this paper,an SEIR epidemic model that incorporates a latent period, excess death of the infected and a standard incidence is considered. The modify reproduction number θ is identified. If θ≤1,the disease-free equilibrium is globally stable and the disease always dies out;if α=0,θ1,a unique endemic equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable.
