Exploration on Applied Talents Training for the Computer Science and Technology Majors of Local Universities

Because the demand for applied talents in modem society is increasingly prominent, some local universities begin to transform to applied talents training. The major of computer science and technology is an engineering discipline with strong applicability, and has advantages on training applied talents. In the process of the transformation, local universities need to increase the proportion of practical courses around the educational ideas, the goal of talents training and the reform of teaching plan. In the education and teaching, teachers should pay attention to cultivating students* interests, strengthen students class interaction, make the transition from traditional teaching to enlightening and exploratory teaching, adjust the structure of industry, education, and research, strengthen the cooperation with enterprises, and encourage teachers and students to integrate into social practice, in order to really understand and master the professional skills currently needed by the industries.
