Artistic morphology:a choice of ways in defining musical literature

The problem of measures failed to be solved in the 20th century. The concept of musical literature have not been defined scientifically in the theoretical world. The intellectual analysis metaphysically elaborated the relationship between music and literature, but the opposite viewpoints also failed to offer a valuable recognition of musical literature. The advantages of the ways adopted in Kagan's Artistic Morphology lie in the notice that musical literature is an inventive state of dynamic evolvement and undergo the long process of modern musical and artistic patterns evolving from the birth, growth to maturity (including two patterns: linguistic musical integration and musical linguistic integration). The composition of musical literature includes two contrary, but complementary phases: literature phase and music phase. The literary features in literature phase meet the demands of singable poetry; the musicality in music phase refers to the artistic effects gained by turning language materials with sounds and meanings provided by composer's singable poetry to musical forms , which offers a proper way to define musical literature scientifically.$$$$
