Abstract
Multiple Input Multiple Output(MIMO) technique, which can increase the channel capacity and spectral efficiency, has become one of the key techniques of the next generation of wireless communication system. This article first studies the space-time channel models.Based on the singular value decomposition, the MIMO channel is equivalent to independent parallel channel,i.e.with the number of antenna increase, the channel capacity increases linearly. Then the paper discusses in detail the multi-dimensional channel capacity region of MIMO systems in the case of Gaussian multiple-access channels and Gaussian broadcast channels, where the duality of the two channels is emphatically analyzed.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
