Research on the characteristic and the strategy of the development of new town in Hangzhou metropolitan area.

With the fast development in urbanization and social economy and on the premise of the adjustment of the administrative region and formation of the over-river and along-river urban towns, the large-scale movement of building new towns is being carried out in Xiasha, Bingjiang and Qianjiang in Hangzhou. The systematic research has been carried out into the characteristics of the development of new towns in Hangzhou and the position and effect in the urbanization process. The problems in the building and developing the new towns have been analyzed and some macroscopic introductory stratagems for the development of new towns have been put forward.
