Research on Status Quo and Countermeasures of Xiamen City Community Sports

In order to thoroughly understand the status quo of community sports,by means of questionnaires,interviews and literature,this paper conducts an investigation research on Xiamen community sports in terms of its policy,management,fund,personnel,venue,and participants.The result shows as the following:comparatively loose status of community sports management in Xiamen;insufficiency of community sports funding by government;rich community sports resources but uneven distribution;serious shortage of community sports instructors;insufficient and uneven distribution of community sports facilities;and low willingness of community residents to actively participate in community sports.In terms of the status quo of Xiamen community sports,this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
