Abstract
Objective: To establish a new method for quantitative detection of fluoride in lime by Ion Chromatography(IC).Method: IC was carried on the DX-120 with IonPacAS14 anion separation column using a mixed solution of 1mmol/L NaHCO3 and 3.5mmol/L Na2CO3.The sample filtered with 0.22 um filter membrane was performed at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min.Fluoride was extracted from lime dissolved in H2SO4 solution by Water Vapour Distillation.Result: The correlation coefficient was more than 0.999 and relative standard deviation was from 2.17% to 3.14%.The rates of recovery were 94.0%~103% and detection limit was 0.05mg/L.Conclusion: The method was proved to be high sensitive, accurate, simple and suitable for quick determination of fluoride in lime.
