Application of SIP and Principle of VoIP

Abstract

The Session Initiation Protocol(SIP) has simple format and is easy to be extended.Based on the analysis on SIP,this paper studies the working principle and the realization feasibility of SIP-based internet telephone,presents a realizing framework of SIP-based internet telephone,and introduces the functions of SIP Server and the basic working procedure of internet telephone.Practical internet telephone can be constructed based on this model.
