Abstract

The thermal diffusivity of mixed rubbers at different mass fractions of N220 carbon were measured by the LFA 447 Nanoflash~(TM) instrument. The thermal properties of gross rubbers were studied,to guide the temperature controll of mixing roll. When the thermal diffusivity of mixed rubber is higher meaning that the temperature sensitivity and heat transferrate of mixed rubber will be higher as well. Therefore, the flux of cooling water should be adjusted more frequently to keep the temperature constant. The results show that the thermal diffusivity of gross rubber increase with the increase of carbon content and their relationship is described by matbematical modle.
