Sequencing and PCR-RFLP analysis of the partial 5′flanking non-translated region of yak α-lactalbumin gene

Partial sequence in 5-flanking non-translated region of yak α-lactalbumin gene is amplified and shares 98.1% homology with that of bovine.The eight base differences include one deletion,five transition,and two transversion.No single base polymorphism has been detected by the PCR-RFLP method at position–1689 of Maiwa yak and Jiulong yak α-lactalbumin gene.
