Vacuum sealing drainage in limb salvage operation of large area skin peeling injury in 9 cases

Objective To investigate the Davis section(vacuum sealing drainage,VSD) applied to a large area of skin avulsion off injuries trauma patients and clinical efficacy. Methods our department from January 2007-January 2013 fractures were treated with a large area of skin exfoliation injury patients in 9 cases,in situ treatment of debridement and skin grafting to be 3-4 times through the application of VSD vacuum sealing drainage treatment wound. Results 9 cases of large skin avulsion injury trauma patients off 3-4 times through the application of VSD technology disposable limb salvage success,achieved satisfactory results.Conclusion A large area of skin exfoliation injury patients through the application of VSD technology limb salvage success rate,the clinical results were satisfactory.
