Abstract

Objective Analysed the performance of magnetic resonance imaging of the rotator cuff injury and Compared different scanning position on the detection of rotator cuff injury. Methods Retrospective analysis the clinical symptoms,MRI scanning methods and imaging performance of 54 cases with shoulder pain. Results Supraspinatus tendon illustrated signal and patterns changes in 52 cases, while supraspinatus tendon partial-thickness tears were detected in 40 cases;full-thickness tears were found in 12 cases.Infraspinatus tendon illustrated signal and patterns changes in 29 cases, while supraspinatus tendon partial-thickness tears were detected in 25 cases;full-thickness tears were found in 4 cases.Subscapularis tendon partial-thickness tears were detected in 3 cases.Subacromial-deltoid bursa fluid were found in 26 cases.Coracoid bursa fluid were found in 23 cases.Labrum injury were 18 cases and also bone contusion were 22 cases.Supraspinatus tendon injury showed well in oblique coronal scan.Infraspinatus tendon injury showed well in axial scan. Conclusion Shoulder MRI scan can clearly show the rotator cuff tendons and soft tissue structures.
