Abstract
The author describes the conception of the urban culture from the society and the history,summarizes the contents of the material,the system and the concept of the urban culture,analyzes the promoting role of the urban culture to the urban development from the spiritual wealth of the common thought,the values,the city spirit and the behavior criterion formed in the process of the urban development.
