Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy ofBaihe Wendan Decoctionin the treatment of insomnia.Methods Sixty-two subjects were randomized into two groups: treatment group in which 32 cases were treated byBaihe Wendan Decictionand control group in which 30 cases were treated by placebo.SPIEGEL and clinical symptoms scale were used to evaluate the efficacy.Results There was an obvious difference between treatment and control groups in cure and effective rates(P 0.05,P 0.01);symptom scale decreased obviously(P 0.05).SWS was significant in treatment group.Conclusion This Decoction is quite effective for insomnia.
