Abstract
Based on a concrete-filled steel tubular arch bridge at Binhai Avenue, the finite element model is created to analyze the global stability of the bridge by solving the stability coefficient.Compared the effects of different layout and stiffness of the transverse braces,as well as the stiffness of the arch ribs on the bridge's stability, this paper presented the most favorable setting of the transverse braces on the concrete-filled steel tubular arch bridge.
