Abstract

The structure characteristics of Early Devonian volcanic sedimentary basin were discussed and the evolution of the volcanic sedimentary structure of the basin and its association with mineralization were studied in the paper. The result shows that the basin is a obvious non-symmetry continental rift, whose volcano-sedimentary-structural evolvement may be divided into the two stages: the early quartz-keratophyre volcanic-sedimentary stage and the late spilitekeratophyre volcanic-sedimentary stage. The iron deposits were centralized in the nucleus stratum of the syncline structure, and they were specifically related with the spilite-keratophyre formation, because of their exhalative-sedimentary mineralization mostly happened in the second volcanic-sedimentary-structural evolvement stage. The reconstruction——superposition mineralization for the exhalative-sedimentary deposits obviously occurred in the upper metamorphic-deformational-intrusive process.
