The Relation between China's Preparation for WTO Membership and the Adjustment of National Quality Structure

When China joins WTO, the enormous motive force caused by WTO will certainly push forward the rapid development of China socialist economy, promote large-scale adjustment of the economic structure, speed up the formation of market mechanism and make China participate in the world economic competition in a more effective way. On the one hand, economic competition will further speed up China's economic increace, improve the depressing employment market and offer a new chance to the national employment and the adjustment of quality structure; on the other hand, the development of socialist market economy of our country will bring in competition system of survival of the fittest and the large-scale adjustment of industrial structure. So it's inevitable for some workers and staff members to lose their jobs. But at the same time, it will urge them to introspect their own weakness, and to adjust and perfect their self-quality structure quickly, so as to fit themselves to the needs of the economic development and social progress when China joins WTO.
