Operation & service of ultrasonic flowmeter

Ultrasonic flow-meter is a velocity-type fluidmetering instrument with which the flow rate of fluid is measured based on ultrasonic pulses.In the present discussion,the work principle and classification of ultrasonic flow-meter are described;guidelines for selecting an ultrasonic flow-meter,based on the instrument's performance and the properties of the fluid to be metered,are proposed;and recommendations for the installation location,installation procedures and maintenance of the instrument are made,thus providing the users with some directions in selecting and operating the ultrasonic flow-meter.
