The Application of DEA Method in the City Economic Efficiency

Abstract

This paper states the theory and method of Data Envelopment Analysis and appraises the economic efficiency of 13 cities in Jiangsu Province from the aspects of inputs and output.Based on the relative effectiveness of these cities,I identify the constraints of economic development and put forward suggestions for improvement.
