Historical Materialism as the Closest Philosophical Basis for Theory of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics: Take Deng Xiaoping Theory for Example

Abstract

Deng Xiaoping Theory is an important aspect of the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Taking Deng Xiaoping Theory for example,this paper reveals that historical materialism is the closest philosophical basis for the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics through illustrating that the formation of the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics is inseparable from historical materialism which is creatively used and developed by our Party.
