Abstract
Objective To investigate the work performance status of the community nurses,and to enhance their performances.Methods Questionnaire survey was used to investigate 197 nurses of 55 community health service centers(stations)from the Weifang city.Results The average number of nurses in each CHS was 3.58.The average working time daily was 9.2 hours.Some 59.2% of the nurses said they were too busy;and 46.3% held that they had a pressure in the work.Conclusion The working condition should be improved and a good community nursing administration system and a scientific salary system set up so as to meet the basic demand of community nurses.The cultural structure in CHS centers (stations) needs to be enhanced,a scientific mechanism of title grading and engagement to be established,and training and checkup system to be improved to meet the mental demands of community nurses and raise their work performance.
