Abstract

Objective To analysis the clinical effect of airway humidification after tracheotomy in order to assess its clinical application value. Methods 60 tracheotomy patients were chosen for the research during the time from August 2010 to August 2011 in hospital.30 patients(contrast group)were treated by interrupted syringe injection for their treatment and the other 30 patients(treatment group)were treated by continuous micro pump infusion method. Two groups'clinical effects and complication had been compared. Results 29 patients of treatment group(96.67%)received excellent clinical effect, which was obviously higher than that of contrast group with only 19 patients(63.33)%.And patients of treatment group's complication such as the phlegm scab, irritable, airway hemorrhage and pulmonary infection is lower than that of contrast group. Conclusion The continuous micro pump infusion method's clinical effect is better than interrupted syringe injection for tracheotomy patients. It should be extended.
