Abstract

In order to solve a kind of non-polynomial interpolation problem, the concept of n-order basic function in symmetric interpolation was defined and the solution of non-polynomial interpolation problem can be transferred into that of some polynomial interpolation problem. It is simple to operate this transfer process after adding the condition of symmetry and can be used in the estimation of the maximum likelihood estimator.
